Catching up is the perfect title for this post. Lately, it’s been a bit busy here at Pieceful Thoughts. Much of the activity revolved around moving our son and daughter out of our house over the weekend. They are not going far away, and the four of us are excited for them. Our other family member, however, is not so excited. Poor Wilbs is just plain confused, wondering where two of his favorite humans have gone.
The room mostly empty, Wilbs sits and waits, wondering when our son is coming back. If that wasn’t bad enough, we also sent our loveseat with them, and the big space on the floor of the living room is perplexing, too. He does have moments of perking up and tearing through the house, though, so we’re confident he’ll adjust as the days go by. Meanwhile, we’re giving him lots of love and attention.
The last TDT post I wrote was back in April. I hadn’t realized it was that long. I just needed a break from the post writing, I think. During that time, I’ve revamped my to do list a bit, so it works better for me. Let’s see what’s up for me this week.

I am making a Wonky Star runner for a classroom at my church. Here are the stars I’ve made.
I’m having some fun with these stars. The background fabric and the white fabric glow in the dark, so I keep taking them into a dark room to see! That slows the progress just a little
The Two and Four QAL is a scrappy quilt, so I pulled out some of my Kim Diehl/Jo Morton/reproduction fabrics for this one. There was a lot of cutting involved, but I’m caught up and ready for the next step.

So that’s my current list for the week. I’ll be working on catching up on these projects, and see if I can cross a few off before next week.
I’ll be linking up with the To Do Tuesday crew over at Texas Quilt Gal today.
How about you? What are you catching up on this week?
